How to Connect Your CRM to SmartForm

Native connections handle authentication and provider-specific field behavior without a separate Zap.

Use Zapier or a custom webhook when:

Your destination is not available in Connections
You need an additional custom workflow
You need to fan out SmartForm data to another application

Avoid accidental duplicates: if a CRM is connected natively and your Zap also creates a contact in that CRM, one submission may create/update the contact twice.

Create a SmartForm Webhook

Quick path: Widgets → select widget → Webhooks → add webhook

Open the widget's Webhooks tab.
Add a webhook and give it a clear name.
Choose the event:

Lead Created
Booking Created

Paste the receiving endpoint URL.
Add/use the webhook secret if your receiver supports verification.
Click Test Webhook and confirm a successful HTTP response.

Send the Webhook to Zapier

In Zapier, create a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier.

Copy the URL generated by Zapier.

The portal shows these terms before you click Activate X-Ray Vision. An existing higher-volume/legacy account can have an account-specific Stripe report rate; its current billing agreement applies.

Recommended Starting Paths

Qualified Leads

Example starting condition: Credit score ≥ 650

GoHighLevel now uses OAuth. Do not copy/paste a legacy GHL API key for a new setup.

First-Login Onboarding

On a new account, the portal may first show:

Business — add your business/DBA name.
Calendar — connect Google Calendar or GoHighLevel Calendar.
Funnels — optional ClickFunnels step when enabled for your account.
CRM — connect a recommended CRM or continue and connect it later.

After onboarding, continue to the widget editor and complete the widget-specific steps below.
