Glossary: SmartForm Terms You Should Know

Core SmartForm Terms

  • SmartForm — The configurable lead-capture/booking widget and portal workflow.
  • Widget — One SmartForm configuration with its own form, team, routing, integrations, and embed code.
  • Widget client ID — The unique ID in a widget embed/configuration. Copy it from the portal; do not invent it.
  • Booking widget — A widget that collects lead data and can schedule a calendar appointment.
  • Lead-capture widget — A form that saves/syncs a lead without requiring a booking.

X-Ray and Routing

  • X-Ray Vision — The credit-intelligence feature that can return credit score, available credit, income, DTI, IP/location, and related analytics.
  • Successful pull — An X-Ray check that returned report data and counts toward usage billing.
  • Failed/unmatched pull — A check that did not return a successful report; failed checks are not charged.
  • Soft inquiry — The type of credit check used by X-Ray; it is not a hard credit application.
  • Smart Routing — Rules that decide what a lead sees/what actions run based on available lead/X-Ray data.
  • Calendar Team — A named subset of assigned calendar members that can be selected by a Smart Routing Show calendar action.

Lead Capture

  • Smart Capture — Debounced partial-submission capture that records meaningful data after a visitor enters a phone/email and pauses, even before Submit.
  • Partial submission — An abandoned/incomplete form record. It is not the same as a completed submission or proof of channel consent.
  • Email Validation — Deliverability/risk checks used to improve lead quality without necessarily blocking every uncertain address.

Integrations

  • Connections — Account-level page used to connect providers such as calendars and CRMs.
  • Native CRM connection — Built-in provider sync (currently GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and ClickFunnels when available).
  • OAuth — Provider authorization in a popup/redirect. GoHighLevel OAuth replaces the deprecated legacy API-key setup.
  • Webhook — An HTTPS endpoint that receives Lead Created or Booking Created payloads for custom automation.
  • Zapier — Optional automation on top of a SmartForm webhook; use native CRM connections first when supported.
  • Workspace/location selection — Widget/provider-specific target such as a ClickFunnels workspace or GoHighLevel location.

Tracking and Developer Features

  • Pixel Wiring — A visual flow builder that maps widget/CRM triggers to the production Send to Meta Pixel action. Other action cards can appear but are not production-ready.
  • Trigger — An event such as New Lead, New Booking, Page View, Booking Page View, Widget Click, or CRM Pipeline Stage Change.
  • Action — Work executed by a trigger. Send to Meta Pixel is the production Pixel Wiring action today; use the widget's separate Webhooks tab for real outbound webhooks.
  • Run / Runs — Manual execution and run-history tools in Pixel Wiring.
  • Funnel Tracker — A standalone script and dashboard for page journeys, campaign attribution, click IDs, pixel cookies, leads, and custom properties.
  • Developer API — Token-based programmatic access available to accounts with API access enabled.

Billing Terms

  • SmartForm Subscription — The current $97/month subscription controlling creation/view access while existing widget intake continues.
  • X-Ray usage — $3.10 per successful report by default, accrued bi-weekly with an $800 threshold.
  • Volume discount — A separately quoted rate for qualified higher-volume usage; it is not an automatic four-tier shopper table.
