🪜 Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Inside Your SmartForm Portal, Turn On “X-Ray SimpleCheck Reports”
Step 1.5 (optional): Enable “SmartRoute” and set routing rules
In your SmartRoute settings, configure your lead routing logic and associated funnel steps
For example:
Rule 1 - Credit Score - is greater than - 650 - Then Redirect To High-Ticket Funnel
Rule 2 - Credit Score - is less than - 651 - Then Redirect To Low-Ticket Funnel
IMPORTANT: Please ensure your routing rules do not conflict with each other.
Step 2: Trigger a Zapier Workflow on Form Submit
Set up a Zap using the SmartForm webhook or API trigger (based on your CRM setup).
Zap Flow:
- Trigger: SmartForm lead/booking
- Filter: Check if the lead meets your score/income rules
- If Qualified:
→ Send to Hyros/Cometly with a Qualified tag or conversion
- If Disqualified:
→ Send with a Disqualified tag or conversion
Step 3: Set Up Hyros or Cometly Conversion Events
✅ Both tools work great. Here’s the goal:
When a qualified or disqualified lead is detected:
- Tag the user inside your tracking system
- Trigger a conversion event that is synced with Meta Ads
For Hyros:
- Use the “Create Lead” or “Tag Lead” step
- Add custom tags like: qualified_call_booked, disqualified_lead
For Cometly:
- Use “Create Lead” or “Update Lead” event
- Fire a custom conversion to Meta for both qualified and disqualified actions
Step 4: Connect Your Meta Pixel
In Meta Events Manager:
- Go to your pixel → Events → Custom Conversions
- Create 2 new custom conversions:
- Qualified Call Booked
- Disqualified Lead Booked
Set the event source: Hyros or Cometly
Set the rule: Based on tag or custom parameter
Step 5: Build Smart Audiences in Meta
Now that Meta is getting real conversion data, use it to optimize:
- ✅ Create a Lookalike Audience from “Qualified Call Booked”
- ❌ Create an Exclusion Audience from “Disqualified Lead Booked”
⏳ You can exclude disqualified leads for 30–180 days (we recommend 60–90).
Step 6: Launch Your Ads
Use your new audiences to run ads that:
- Prioritize quality
- Retarget only qualified leads
- Exclude broke leads that waste your time + budget
