# How to Set Up Double Booking for High-Quality Leads

## How Double Booking Works

Double booking is a **Smart Routing action** for leads that match a rule. There is no separate General Settings toggle in the current widget editor.

**Quick path:** **Widgets** → select booking widget → **Smart Routing** → add rule → **Allow double booking**

> X-Ray Vision is required for rules that use credit score or other X-Ray values. Enabling Smart Routing automatically enables/locks X-Ray while routing is active.

## Configure the Rule

1. Open **Widgets** and select the booking widget.
2. Open **Smart Routing**.
3. Turn Smart Routing on.
4. Add a rule.
5. Add the condition:
   - **Field:** Credit score
   - **Operator:** Greater than (or greater than/equal, based on your policy)
   - **Value:** your chosen threshold
6. Set the action to **Allow double booking**.
7. Save the widget.

Use a threshold appropriate for your business. A score such as 700 is only an example, not a required SimpleCheck setting.

## Combine With Calendar Teams (Optional)

If high-quality leads should reach a specific closer/team:

1. Open **Team Setup**.
2. Assign the calendar members used by this widget.
3. Under **Calendar Teams for Smart Routing**, click **Add Team**.
4. Name the team and select its members.
5. In the routing flow, use a **Show calendar** action for that team and the double-booking rule needed by your configuration.

Only assigned members/calendars can be used by the widget.

## Test Before Sending Traffic

1. Open the widget preview/live link.
2. Submit one test that falls below the threshold.
3. Submit one test that meets the double-booking rule.
4. Confirm the matched action in the widget flow.
5. Complete a booking and verify the assigned person/calendar event.

> Double booking can create overlapping appointments. Confirm your sales team has a process for handling conflicts before enabling it.

## Troubleshooting

### The action never runs
Confirm Smart Routing is enabled, X-Ray returned a score, the rule order does not cause another rule to match first, and the widget was saved.

### The lead has no credit score
Configure a clear default/no-score action. Do not assume a missing score means the lead is unqualified.

### The wrong closer receives the booking
Review **Team Setup**, primary-member priority, Calendar Team membership, and each member's actual availability.

Contact support with the widget name and test submission time if the rule still does not match.
